Midwest Insurance Agency Alliance Hosts Leadership Conference

Lincoln, NE – May 27, 2021 – Midwest Insurance Agency Alliance, Inc. (MIAA), a leading network of independent insurance agencies across seven states, hosted its annual Leadership Conference on May 19, 2021. The virtual conference, attended by nearly 200 agency principals and insurance company partners, offered workshops, a panel discussion, trade show, virtual entertainment, awards ceremony, and a keynote address from Joan Woodward, Executive Vice President of Public Policy at Travelers and President of the Travelers Institute.

The half-day event featured a live panel discussion with MIAA member agency principals on the topic of increasing agency profitability. Other sessions addressed returning to the agency workplace post-COVID and maximizing the use of agency management systems.

“While our members are looking forward to getting together in-person, we received an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from this event.,” stated Doug Meacham, President and COO of MIAA. “The community boards and discussion groups were incredibly popular, and we plan to use some of the topics from those forums in future events.”
